Yamaha & Mariner 40HP Gearcase Lower Unit Fresh Water Tested Excellent
This lower unit is in excellent cosmetic and mechanical used condition. Minor paint scuffs and a small chip in the back of the skeg are the only defects to be found. This unit was pulled from a 1994 Yamaha 40hp that fell over on a stand and broke the belly pan. This will also fit Mercury Mariner motors made by Yamaha in the late 80's. The following part numbers are a match to this gearcase.

No oil in unit, Must be properly filled before use. Impeller was not checked or changed. Suggest changing before installation on your motor.
