This 822442A83 gearcase was only used in fresh water and is in excellent condition. It has minor paint loss from the factory original paint job. It also has a slight bend in skeg which will not affect performance.  It was drilled for the hydrofoil shown in the listing. This hydrofoil is included but is not in great shape. it has a few cracks and 1 chip near one of the rear mounting holes. 1.75:1 GEAR HOUSING ASSEMBLY Complete (4.75 Inch/120.65 mm Torpedo Diameter)   Gear case was well maintained and working perfectly when the power head failed. This is original factory paint.
Drained oil for testing, Oil was clean with no water or metal contamination. This passed vacuum and pressure tests with zero drop.   Cavitation plate and skeg are both straight and in very good condition with the exceptions as noted above. Small scratches and paint loss but overall appearance is great.
Long shaft motor measuring 21 1/2 " from top of water pump to end of shaft, 20" transom motor. Standard Rotation, 1.75:1 Gear Ratio.
I recommend replacing the impeller. It was in used and working when motor powerhead failed but it is the right time to change it before installing on your motor.  This unit must be filled with gear oil from the bottom up to the vent prior to use. Condition: Used Condition Description: Very good used condition, passed pressure and vacuum tests with zero drop, all splines in great shape, slight bend in skeg, cavitation plate drilled for hydrofoil which is included but has some cracks/chip in it. Change impeller, Bolt on, fill with oil, ready to go.
